Thus, our mission is to improve the current sports funding system on a professional basis and to introduce and support new, innovative and sustainable or self-sustaining sports economy systems for the long term.
The HSBA (MASÜSZ) aims to facilitate the relationship between sport and business, and to promote the development of mutually beneficial relationships between sport, business and society.
The Hungarian Sport Business Association has set out the following specific objectives:
The Association aims to facilitate the relationship between sports and business life, which has become an industry, resulting in the cooperation of economic and social relations. In addition to the dialogue, we develop joint projects with the active participation of various sports industry actors. These joint projects not only aim at a socially effective cooperation between sport and business, but they also facilitate a continuous dialogue between business and sport professionals.
The development and professional support of the sports financing system (sports sponsorship) and the introduction of new, innovative and sustainable long-term options are a priority among our professional tasks for the Association.

The creation of the MASÜSZ was an organic outcome of the work we did a few years ago to revive the Sports Marketing section of the Hungarian Marketing Association. However, over time we recognized that the development of the sports industry involves such a wide range of areas and players that it can no longer be understood within the narrow operational field of sports marketing. The success achieved in the section have shown that there is a clear need for an association that can serve the sport industry as a whole and help it develop in a holistic way.
The work of the MASÜSZ President and the two Vice-presidents is supported by the Committee chairs, who are also members of the Board.
